Releasing Payment

Introduction​

Tip for buyers

Only release funds to the Seller once you are satisfied of the product / service delivered.

Warning for buyers

If you DO NOT release funds after recieving the product / service, and you DO NOT dispute the transaction within the specified Inspection Period, then Lipasafe will be automatically release the payment to the Seller.

After depositing funds into an escrow transaction, a Seller can release the funds to the buyer at any time within the Inspection Period.

When a Buyer releases payment, the released amount will be added to the Seller's Lipasafe wallet. The Seller can request a withdrawal from their wallet at any time.

How to release payment​

  1. In the Transaction Details page, click on the Green Pay Seller button
    • This button will only be available to the Buyer after they have deposited the Total Transaction Value in full

  1. You will see the Release Payment page where you can review a breakdown of your transaction in detail.

  1. Click the green Release Payment button and confirm your action.
  2. Payment has now been released to the Seller's wallet.
    • Both the buyer and seller will be notified via SMS and email of the buyer's action to release payment
